Every year, Chris and his friends get together on Christmas night and wassail their friends and neighbors all around town. It started with 2, and I think we ended up with 20+ people and a 3 car caravan, by the time we ended up at the Jensen's house for a bonfire. The purpose is to show up, sing some carols and hope to get a tasty beverage in return. They've developed quite the route, with folks expecting them every year. This year we even picked up some new friends along the way! We were caroling our hearts out to a house with no one in it, and it got the attention of their neighbors. One of our guys ended up knowing them and they invited us in for some snacks and drinks. We ended up inviting them along, and hung out with us the rest of the evening!! They were a really cool couple, hopefully they'll join us every year!!! :-)
