I got my SNOW!!!!!

New Year’s Eve started off pretty shaky… I wasn’t feeling too good which resulted in me AND mom missing church. It sucked and I felt like crap… but was so thankful that I had my mommy there to take care of me!! I would have been even more of a mess if I had to deal with that on my own in P-town. God is good! Really good… not only because He answered our prayers and helped me feel better, but because it was just in time for lunch with the family!! OH… and I got my SNOW!!!!!! It was a little too close to “travel” day for some (a.k.a. Dad), but I was giddy nonetheless!!! It was just enough to cover the ground and it was beautiful… once again, thank you Jesus for answered prayers!!

After a little reading...

and playing hide-n-seek under the table...

we put on our Chiefs gear and cheered them on to victory as they beat the Jacksonville Jaguars… then continued on with our cheers as everything fell in place, including a Broncos loss to shove us into the playoffs!!! SWEET!!!!! Gma and Gpa came over that evening for dinner and to hang out one more time before I headed back to P-town.

Go FHSU Tigers!!!

Baby J... a little disappointed about the band not being there, but excited nonetheless...
it's all he talked about for DAYS!!!

It's definitely a family affair! For all you P-town folks... now you can kinda see where I get it. But you haven't seen anything until my mom starts yelling at the refs... good times!!

Snack time!

Quick high-5 for the Tiger!

Yummm!

Cheesin' with his fruit loops!

It’s been a LONG time since I’ve attended one of those! And it was more than a little strange sitting in the reserved section with my family instead of standing at mid-court on the front row. I still loved watching the game, especially seeing Jordan following in the family footsteps with a love of b-ball and getting excited about the famous Tiger mascot. Although, I can’t say that really like the new, improved Tiger… I like the one from my days WAY better! Anyway, being on campus brought back a TON of memories… cheering for all my Lady Tigers (with or without the signs!), heading out to the HOME afterwards, and yes, even dating Carlos! It was weird sitting on the opposite side… it was weird seeing Jeremy, someone we used to hang out with, and is now the assistant coach... it was a painful reminder, once again, that I’m getting older. I enjoy my life now... but sometimes I wish I could re-live some of those days, just for the fun of it!! At the time, life was busy and stressfull. But looking back, it was pretty care-free. I made a lot of stupid mistakes in those days, some I wish I could take back, and some that I would probably make again… but life was definitely good. I have such great memories of my college years… my AGD sisters, those crazy days in the sorority house, all the football, volleyball, basketball & baseball games with my girls, and all the partying afterwards… I was surrounded by awesome people!! I’m pretty sure I have the best friends in the world, and no once can convince me otherwise. And the fact that we still keep in touch proves it… just my opinion. Sorry, for the FHSU flashback… but I had to go there!!

See... Coach Jeremy! Crazy!!

C is for cookie...

We braved the experience of making sugar cookies with Jordan! Mom hooked up the cookie dough, Krisson and I frosted them… well, Krisson did the majority of the frosting, I took pics… go figure! But even though Mom will probably still find sprinkles and sugar for the next couple of months, Jordan did such an awesome job!! He loved sprinkling on the little balls!! And out of the 2 choices of frosting... green and pink... BLUE was definitely his favorite!!

(See... right here, proof that I frosted atleast 1 cookie!!)

And after a long day of frosting cookies... Jordan and I curled up in front of the pretty tree and read books about David & Goliath, Jonah, Daniel & the Lion Den and of course... Bert & Ernie!!!

Get it while ya can!

Family time that is! As crazy as it was with 3 toddlers ruling the house... I'm only there to enjoy it once or twice a year... so bring it on!!

On Thursday, we just hung out as a fam… more toys, more games, more movies and a trip downtown to take a ride on Thomas the train! Matt, Steph and the boys hung around until after supper before heading back to Salina.

(couldn't get the boys to sit still long enough for a family picture... go figure!)

I can always count on Seth to pose for me!

This was the only picture I could get of all 3 of them... we had to put on Toy Story and then I sat by the TV in order to snap a shot... geez! Maybe next year they'll cooperate... :-)
