After our family dinner, my side took a walk along the boardwalk outside of the restaurant and made our way down to the Columbia River. The boys loved seeing the Interstate Bridge lift and a sailboat travel under it!! However, Jordan was rather disappointed that he couldn't see the volcano (Mt. Hood) because of the smog! That boy has a GREAT memory from last summer!
We then headed to downtown Portland to jump on the Max train. I thought the boys would enjoy it, and they did... but unfortunately, that also left us a LONG (beautiful, but long) walk along the Willamette River to OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science & Industry). All of us were pretty tired after that jaunt. The museum was fun... with the ball room being the biggest hit for all 3 boys! And by the time we were done there, I called Chris to come rescue us and shuttle us back to the mall to get our cars. There was no way we'd make the walk back!!! If they didn't love him by now... they sure did after seeing him pull up in his truck!!! LOL!!!
