They call me Kansas: Roloff Farm 2008

Last year, my dept. took an afternoon off and visited the Roloff Farm for Chris's bday. (He's a little obsessed with the Roloffs). Well, it's now become tradition... and once again, Dr. Martens let us take an afternoon off as a "team building" activity and we headed back out to see our friends, the Roloffs! We made our annual stop at SONIC for lunch, then headed out to the farm! The PR gal for the Roloffs actually contacted us this year and asked if we were coming back out, so we had some VIP treatment this year! She made sure both Amy and Matt came out to meet us, which was pretty awesome... and in turn, they got hooked up with some DM's!!! Maybe they'll wear them on the show someday!! LOL!!! Each year it gets better and better... can't wait for next year!!

Auna... you can't say the word "spider" without her freaking out, yet she literally ran over to the snake to hold one. Crazy.

This year they added an exotic animal zoo... including spiders, lizards, a skunk and apparently an alligator on the weekends!

I cannot imagine living here... it's insanity!! And they're constantly adding new things... just for the heck of it!!! I didn't even get pics of the soccer field, tennis court, beach volleyball court, the barns, the fort, Molly's castle... the list goes on... the place even has underground tunnels!!!
