Each year we alternate between taking the Literacy Club kids to either the Harvest Festival at Mt. Olivet or Crossroads, our partner in the urban ministry. This year we headed out to Vancouver to Crossroads! Not sure if they got as much candy as they would have liked, but I think everyone had a great time!! It was crazy at times... especially when I got suckered into playing the donut game!!! But I had no choice... it was the only way to get them to stop chanting my name!!! Folks heard them all the across the hall. Ugh. Oh well, I was hungry... so I wasn't mad about getting a donut!! LOL!! Good times!!!
