Work weekend...

As Portland reached record highs for the month of June... most of us were just happy for some sunshine!! I worked on my tan... AndeeLynn read her books on how to "boost your immune system"... Givens joined us for conversation and cookies... and then we rummaged thru Target for almost 2 hrs. Yeah, that's right... we live an exciting life!! Saturday nights just aren't what they used to be!! Anyway... here's where the "work" came in. Andee just recently put up a beautiful fence... and when we returned from our adventure at Target, we grabbed the sprayer and brushes and started to stain our new fence!! Granted it was 9pm, the sun was already down so we only had an hour or so... but we felt like we accomplished a lot!! Let's just say... we're quite the team, we all have our strengths... and just like anything we do together... it was straight comedy!! Lily... you were missed!!!

So then Sunday, I pulled out my beautiful drill that Dad bought me for my b-day last year and hung up my soon-to-be purse rack!!! Here's some before and afters... yeah me!! And yeah Andee for stickin' with me and helping!!!

Yes... I realize I need a picture of my purses actually HANGING on the rack... but as you can see from the get-up... I was more concerned about working on my tan, than actually putting up the purses!!! :-)
